SpyRemover is an adequate product for removing spyware apps but lacks many features that are included with other products on the market.
Protection Effectiveness:
SpyRemover has a very basic feature set. It only detects and removes spyware and adware components and has a simple restore or rollback capability. It now offers real time protection, but if you're already infected SpyRemover won't detect and remove the spyware as well as other products tested.
Removal Effectiveness:
SpyRemover found more spyware and adware than in our last test, but still didn't do as well as a large number of products.
Summary:
While InfoWorks has taken steps to improve their product and support, you could get much more for your money from one of our higher ranked products.
